New Blackboard students will be granted access to Blackboard two weeks before the scheduled start date of their first Blackboard class. At this time the student will have access to a Blackboard Orientation course. The actual course link(s) will not appear in Blackboard until the day before each class's scheduled start date.
How to get to Blackboard from MyDMACC:
- Go to the DMACC Home Page, click the myDMACC Button at the top of the page.
- Log in with your network username and password.
- Your username is usually your first initial, middle initial, last name with no spaces followed by @dmacc.edu Ex: (efhutton@dmacc.edu).
- You may also have a number at the end of your username Ex: (efhutton12@dmacc.edu).
- Your default password is sent to you after you submit your admissions application by email and post office letter.
Note: You will be required to set up your security questions and reset your password at first login.
- Once logged in, click the Blackboard button on the left side of the page.
- Once you're in Blackboard, you should see your Orientation course. Your actual courses will be loaded the day before classes begin.
-You can also reach Blackboard with this Direct Link to Blackboard. Direct Blackboard logins use your username without @dmacc.edu at the end, then your regular password.
Note: If you do not have access to blackboard but need to complete orientation please contact orientation at: Orientation@dmacc.edu or call (515)-965-7321 and provide them with the following information: Your name, program, and student ID number in the email or voice message.
