How do I get to my online Blackboard class?

New Blackboard students will be granted access to Blackboard two weeks before the scheduled start date of their first Blackboard class.  At this time the student will have access to a Blackboard Orientation course. The actual course link(s) will not appear in Blackboard until the day before each class's scheduled start date.

How to get to Blackboard from MyDMACC:

  • Go to the DMACC Home Page, click the myDMACC Button at the top of the page.
  • Log in with your network username and password.
  • Your username is usually your first initial, middle initial, last name with no spaces followed by @dmacc.edu  Ex: (efhutton@dmacc.edu).
  • You may also have a number at the end of your username Ex: (efhutton12@dmacc.edu).
  • Your default password is sent to you after you submit your admissions application by email and post office letter.

Note: You will be required to set up your security questions and reset your password at first login.

  • Once logged in, click the Blackboard button on the left side of the page.
  • Once you're in Blackboard, you should see your Orientation course.  Your actual courses will be loaded the day before classes begin.

-You can also reach Blackboard with this Direct Link to Blackboard. Direct Blackboard logins use your username without @dmacc.edu at the end, then your regular password.
