MFA - Initial Setup with MS Authenticator App for Single Device setup (iPhone - Current as of 01/25/2024)

Signing into DMACC Office 365 for the first time and seeing a message that states "More information required"? Follow this guide to setup MFA for your DMACC Microsoft account.

First check to see if the Microsoft Authenticator is installed on your phone.  If not it can be downloaded from your app store. 

This is the free application that you are looking for.

When you log into myDMACC with your username and password, you will see a message stating “More information required” Select “Next"

On the next screen click on the "Next" link at the bottom of the screen.

 

In the next step, click on the link for "Pair your account to the app by clicking this link."

Then click on "Open"

Click on "Unlock"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Enter your credentials/biometrics that you use to get into your phone.

You should see your dmacc account in the app

If your account was added in the last step, go back to the webpage and click "Next"

The site will now give you a number to enter into the app, also you will see a notification pop up to "Approve sign-in?"

Enter the number that was shown in the last step and click "Yes".

Enter your credentials/biometrics that you use to get into your phone again.

If everything worked properly, you should see the following message

Lastly, select "Done".  Your authenticator app is now paired to your account.
