This service allows you to submit a request for access to public records in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Iowa Open Records Act (Iowa Code Chapter 22). Requests may be made by any member of the public and will be processed by the college in compliance with applicable laws.
Important Information:
- Some requests may result in fees, depending on the size or complexity of the records requested. You will be notified if charges apply before records are provided.
- No payment is collected at the time of submission. Billing information is requested only in case fees are necessary.
- Requests should be as specific as possible, including the type of record, the campus or department involved, and the time period to be searched.
- You will be asked to indicate how you would like to receive the information (for example: email, secure upload, or mail).
- If your request involves student records, please note that the college must comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). You may be asked to confirm how your use of data complies with FERPA requirements.
