Overview
If a legitimate email is being blocked as SPAM, you can add the sender to your Safe Senders list. This ensures future messages from that sender are delivered to your Inbox.
At DMACC, email addresses labeled as SPAM are not globally whitelisted for security reasons. Each user must manage their own Safe Senders list.
✅ When to Use This
Use this process if:
- Expected emails are missing from your Inbox
- Messages are being delivered to Junk Email
- A known sender is being blocked or filtered
🖥️ Outlook Desktop (Manual Entry)
- Open Outlook
- Select the Home tab
- Click Junk → Junk E-mail Options
- Select the Safe Senders tab
- Click Add
- Enter the sender’s email address
user@domain.com
- Click OK, then Apply
🌐 Outlook on the Web (OWA)
- Open Outlook in your web browser
- Select the Settings (⚙️) icon
- Choose View all Outlook settings
- Navigate to:
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add
- Enter the email address or domain
user@domain.com
- Select Save
🌍 Add an Entire Domain (Optional)
If you frequently receive emails from the same organization:
- Add the domain instead of an individual address
@example.com
Warning: This allows messages from any sender at that domain.
