TeamViewer - Remote User

TeamViewer is the tool DMACC Systems Integration uses for remoting into user's computers while off campus.

 

For us to establish a connection there are a few steps that need to be taken on your computer.

 

  1. A session key and a link will be sent via email from the DMACC help desk software to download the TeamViewer Quick Support tool.

    NOTE: It is recommended that you open the link in either Microsoft Edge A picture containing clock

Description automatically generated because it will make it easier to launch the TeamViewer Quick Support tool once it has been successfully downloaded.
     

     

  2. Download Instructions
    1. Microsoft Edge

    3. If you follow the directions successfully the TeamViewer Quick Support tool will run as soon as it has been downloaded and you'll be prompted to allow the tool to make changes to your computer.

    5. Once the "Ready to connect" message appears the DMACC Helpdesk Agent will be able to connect to your desktop. When the DMACC Helpdesk Agent makes the connection you'll be prompted to allow the connection.

    6. When the DMACC Helpdesk Agent has successfully connected your background will turn black and a notification will show in the lower right corner as shown below.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    7. When the DMACC Helpdesk Agent has disconnected your desktop will return to normal and the following advertisement for TeamViewer will appear. Simply click the X in the top right corner to close the advertisement.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
