Drop a Class - Online via Banner Self Service
Summary
How to drop a class using banner self service
Body
- Log in to myDMACC – with your DMACC username and password
- Locate Tools then Classes
- Click Register for Credit Classes
- When the next page opens, click Register for Classes
- Select the appropriate semester then click Continue
- Review Course Summary section in the lower right corner
- If the course shows Registered in the Status column, you will have the option to select **Web Dropped** under Action (unless the drop/withdraw deadline has passed)
- To finalize the drop – click Submit in the lower right corner. The status would then be changed to Deleted
- Student Holds, if applicable, may prevent dropping courses via Banner Self-service
- After the withdrawal deadline, you will not see the option to select **Web Dropped**
- Refund deadlines are earlier than Withdrawal deadlines
