Academic Disqualification

You will need to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss the steps required to get started again at DMACC.  You must submit an academic disqualification appeal including an academic improvement plan and document any unusual or extenuating circumstances that prevented you from maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress. Students approved to return will need to complete an academic improvement plan each semester/term until back in good academic standing.

If you plan to apply for financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office to check on your Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress status. To qualify for financial aid, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, and a minimum pace of completion of 67%.
