YubiKeys?
What are YubiKeys?
YubiKeys are a small USB device that allow you to authenticate into your DMACC account/email when accessing it from a computer. They look like the picture below.
Please note that YubiKeys are intended for those who are not able to use a cell phone to authenticate into their DMACC account. You will not be able to use a YubiKey as an MFA device if you are attempting to access your DMACC account on a cell phone.
YubiKeys are available at no cost to both DMACC students and staff/faculty. We highly recommend utilizing the other authentication methods prior to requesting a YubiKey, as we have a limited amount of free YubiKeys available.
Where to get a YubiKey:
DMACC Students- please go to the your campus Library or you can purchase it at https://www.yubico.com/product/security-key-series/security-key-nfc-by-yubico-black/
DMACC Faculty/Staff- please come to the Tech Support office located at the Ankeny campus in Building 6, room 17
