You can access MyLab, a virtual DMACC PC, by going to https://mylab.dmacc.edu
MyLab virtual machines emulate a DMACC campus computer. In other words, you can use these virtual machines as if you were using a computer on-campus. This includes seeing your P: drive, and being able to access special software that is deployed to these virtual machines.
When navigating to https://mylab.dmacc.edu, you have two options for connecting to a virtual machine.

Option 1: You can choose Install VMware Horizon Client on the left. This will take you to a VMware download page where you can choose the Horizon Client that matches your OS.
Here you will choose which operating system you are using on your current laptop or desktop (most typical is the Windows OS).

If you are installing on Windows you will click on the option "GO TO DOWNLOADS" and then click on the blue box that says "Download Now" and the download should start. (It is important to note that if you are installing on MAC or Linux based system you will want to use the most up to date version of VMware Horizon Client that is able to be used on that system.)

Once that is done installing you will open it and click 'Add a server'.

You will be asked for a server address to connect to. Please enter mylab.dmacc.edu and press connect.

Once connected with the server you will enter your DMACC credentials to gain access to choose to connect to a DMACC desktop.

Click on the Student Desktop and it will begin to launch.

Once it finishes loading you will be on a DMACC virtual desktop.
You can confirm this by seeing in the top left of the window that it will say which type of desktop that was launched.
Option 2 (Recommended): You can also choose VMware Horizon HTML Access on the right, which uses your web browser to access MyLab. We recommend this option because it requires no setup or software installation. Click the following link to bypass Option 1 and continue to HTML Access: https://mylab.dmacc.edu/portal/webclient/index.html#/login
Use your usual username and password to sign in, make sure the domain reads "DMACC".
After signing in, you will see a list of virtual machines that you can connect to. Simply click one of them to connect to that virtual machine. The student virtual machines contains specialty software for class work such as 3D modeling, Office365 products, and simulation software.

After you get logged in with your DMACC credentials you should see a desktop that has some predetermined Icons for DMACC students when they use a DMACC computer from another device.
